Single blister packs with carriers and dispensers are convenient, but they create packaging waste and costs that have nothing to do with the wax guard itself. Bulk supply reduces both.
Worked example from our concept: one unit consisting of outer packaging, 8 carriers and 8 wax guards weighs 5.2 g in total. The wax guards account for only about 0.002 g, around 5.198 g is packaging – that is 99.97 % waste for 0.03 % benefit. A small practice with two booths uses about 200 wax guards a month; that is 2,400 wax guards and around 1,560 g of plastic per year, of which about 1,556.72 g is waste.
